Stripping the Old Finish
Metal Finishing & Repair
Using hand-filing, sanding, grinding, buffing, and precision metalwork, every surface is refined to create a flawless foundation.
For severely deteriorated parts, especially porous cast metals, additional restoration techniques are required and applied to rebuild damaged areas before plating.
Copper Plating
A heavy layer of acid copper is applied to the part, filling microscopic imperfections and creating a smooth foundation for future layers. The copper is repeatedly polished and buffed to a mirror finish.
